$3.1M NFL (SEASON-LONG) CONTEST RULES

FanUp contest entrants compete to accumulate points based on athletes’ statistical performance in sporting events; and results are determined by the total points accumulated from each individual entry. FanUp’s contests are governed by FanUp’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and the following rules.

FanUp (iOS) is at the intersection of sports and pop culture, creating next generation products, features and content for the fantasy sports and fandom industries. We’re an interactive entertainment company, that focuses on social experiences, letting fans team up and compete in predictive skill based games together.

  • FanUp contests are fun, easy, and fast to join.
  • No more drafts or salary caps, and entrants have an equal playing field.
  • It’s easy. For each season-long entry, you Pick 7 players every week of the NFL Regular Season (Wks 1-17). Bam, that’s it.
  • Each weekly entry (team) includes (1) QB, (2) RB’s, (2) WR’s, (1) TE and (1) Flex player (RB, WR, TE) that has a 1.5x multiplier.
  • SCORING: Players selected rack up fantasy points based on their in-game performance. Ex: Passing TD = 4 pts, Receptions = 1 pt (standard scoring = 1 point per reception)
  • Entrants are required to pay an entry fee of $150 per season-long entry to join the $1,250,000 FanUp Frenzy Flex Ball Season-Long NFL Contest (the “Contest”).
  • Entry to the Contest will be closed 5 minutes before the 1st game of the 2022 season. This means that the Contest closure time would move if the timing of the first game were to change for any reason.
  • Entrants are allowed to enter a maximum of 100 entries in the Contest.
  • Entrants accumulate points throughout the duration of the season-long contest period from the performance of the team of players they submit each week.
  • Entrants can edit weekly rosters for each entry up to 1-minute before the official start of the first NFL game that week.
  • In addition to season-long grand prizes, the winner of each individual week may receive bonus prizes, promotions, and other special offers or fan experiences.
  • The Contest will consist of 16,500 total entries to provide participants an industry-best possibility to win.
  • Note: the Contest doesn’t include the NFL post season. A separate FanUp Flex Ball contest will be held for post season play.

FanUp uses official league statistics provided by industry-leading partners and only includes performance results from official league events.

We venture to settle contests and distribute prizes promptly, without sacrificing the accuracy of results, to an optimal experience to fans. Final scores and results will be confirmed within 48 hours after the final game of the day. Normally, any scoring changes or stat corrections provided by our partners, after a contest has ended and FanUp has settled the contest, will not impact the already-settled contest. However, FanUp reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revise scores after they are released in the unlikely event of potential scoring error by a provider or FanUp. In such instances, the contest results and payments may be modified or reversed.

If a league declares a game “postponed” or “suspended,” then the statistics generated in the sporting event before that point will count toward the contest. Any statistics generated when the sporting event takes place or resumes will count only if it occurs before the relevant contest period.

Maximum Entries

FanUp limits the maximum number of entries that a single entrant (user, fan) may enter into a single contest. This Contest will have a maximum of 100 entries per entrant.

Multiple Entries

Each week, a complete entry includes:

Each user on FanUp is permitted to maintain one account. "Multi-accounting" or colluding with any other entrant is expressly prohibited. If you have opened, maintained, used, colluded with, or controlled more than one account, as determined in FanUp’s sole discretion, we may terminate or suspend any or all of your accounts and may revoke or withhold any prizes that you have won.

If you undertake any actions that are detrimental to FanUp or other users on FanUp's service, we may suspend some or all functions associated with your account. We expect suspended users to respect the disciplinary actions that we have imposed on your accounts. FanUp does not permit entrants to cancel entries once this Contest has started.

Flex Ball contests are non-guaranteed contests. Accordingly, if they do not reach capacity (all potential slots are filled by entrants) by contest start time, the contests may be canceled and refunded at FanUp’s discretion.

FanUp reserves the right to cancel contests at our sole discretion, without any restrictions. Typically, we would only do so in cases where we believe that due to problems on our services or occurring in events impacting the sporting events, there would be questions regarding the integrity of the contest.

Player positions are determined at the sole discretion of FanUp. Lineups must include players from at least two different teams.

LINEUP EDITS

Entrants may not edit weekly rosters after the first NFL game of the week has officially started.

TRADED AND RETIRED PLAYERS

At FanUp, injuries, trades, suspensions, and early retirements won’t blow your entire line – or sideline your chances of rising the leaderboard all season. You get to flex your muscle every week with a new roster of your choosing.

However, in the rare instance that players are traded, in real life, entrants will accumulate points based on the player’s performance on their new NFL team. Entrants are not permitted to swap players after the first NFL game of the week starts, even if a player in their lineup is no longer eligible to earn points (e.g., suspended, injured, sidelined, retired, etc.).

FanUp’s real-money contests are not currently available in every US state.

FanUp is also available for play to Canadian residents.

Follow us on twitter for announcements as we launch in new states.

FanUp’s Free-to-Play games and contests are available in all 50 US states.

Legal residents physically located in Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, and Washington are only eligible to participate in free-to-play gaming and not real-money contests.

A Parlay is one ‘Super Pick’ that combines two or more picks, tying them together for a larger reward. For the parlay to win, all picks involved must win. The more picks added to the parlay, the less likely the outcome, and the bigger the payout since every prediction involved must come to be true. If a single pick (or prediction) in the parlay loses, the entire parlay of picks loses as well. For example, a fan might predict that Patrick Mahomes will throw more than 1.5 touchdowns in a football game, and that LeBron James will score more than 24.5 points in a basketball game. Each prediction has a set probability of becoming true. A parlay on both predictions assumes that both will become true, that Mahomes will throw more than 1.5 touchdowns AND that James will score more than 24.5 points. If both happen, the parlay wins. If one or more of the picks loses then the entire parlay loses.

No other app in the biz goes bigger than FanUp, allowing fans to combine 6 different picks for a maximum reward of 30x the winnings. The maximum bet for a single parlay is $500.

  • Pick 2: 3-1 (3x)
  • Pick 3: 6-1 (6x)
  • Pick 4: 10-1 (10x)
  • Pick 5: 25-1 (25x)
  • Pick 6: 30-1 (30x)

Note: All payouts include the entry fee being paid back.

All parlays are final once submitted. Users cannot edit or cancel a parlay for any reason.

If a player plays 0 minutes of a game or match, for any reason, the player will be deemed as an inactive player and all picks tied to the player will be considered a push.

If an entry remains valid despite a selection being pushed, and another pick (selection) within a parlay loses, then the entire parlay will be classified as a loss.

If an entry remains valid despite a selection being pushed, and all other selections win, the parlay will be classified as a win – and calculated based on the prize multiplier for the number of remaining picks. For example, if a parlay was created using four picks (with a multiplier of 10x) and one of the picks was pushed because a player was inactive, and the three remaining picks won, the parlay would be classified as a win with a payout for the three remaining picks – using a multiplier of 6x.

If a pushed pick (selection) makes an entry invalid, or if pushed pick or set of pushed picks reduce a parlay to a single remaining pick, then the entire entry will be voided and the fee will be refunded.

If a game is suspended or postponed and the completion of that game does not occur on the original scheduled calendar day, selections for the game will be graded as a push.

Shortened games that are still official games will score as usual and be counted towards entries.

All parlays must include players from more than one team, and a single player may be used a maximum of one time (1x) per parlay. All entries also require more than one pick (selection) with definitive outcomes (e.g., Over/Under, More/Less, Win/Loss). Additionally, you may only use the same player once per entry. In the event of a tie, a pick will be considered a push.

If a parlay includes LeBron James (OVER), Anthony Davis (OVER), Steph Curry (UNDER), and Steph Curry’s pick pushes, then the entire parlay would void since the remaining selections must be from more than one team to remain valid.

If a parlay includes LeBron James (OVER) and Steph Curry (UNDER), and Steph Curry’s pick pushes, then the entire parlay would void since the remaining selections must be from more than one team and more than one total player to remain valid.

Player projections and statistics may change throughout the week. Once a parlay is submitted, the projections used for each pick within a parlay, at the time of entry, will remain until the parlay is settled.
